Painting

Painting, for me, I wouldn’t say it was love at first sight like ceramics, but more of an appreciation developed over time. It has been an art form I always come back to when I need to be creatively hands-on. In my everyday life, painting is the most accessible tactile art practice, especially watercolor or acrylic, although in school I developed an appreciation for oil, but its long drying process doesn’t fit in my day-to-day. Another thing about painting that keeps me coming back is that it’s also an art form I am easily able to apply different skills to painting or painting to other skills.
